Google Street View goes indoors at Downtown restaurant → downtown-mtauburn.fox19.com

Sorry to all my English Speakers.. just click the link or if you want to hear my rant use a translator.. hehe

Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus Emery

You know they say ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’ But the questions remain until you can’t take it any longer. But I am still so young. But I didn’t know I could be so dumb. And you, you’re still so young, but now I know that you’re so duuumbb. He’s never going to go away (never going to go away)

-EMERY

This is a great song that reminiscences on the aftermath of what most of us learned in high school.  Thing is that he’s never going to go away.

“Actor Johnny Depp had to rely on a team of assistants to help him during ‘bathroom breaks’ while shooting vampire movie ‘Dark Shadows’”

This just made my day. Poor guy though. Hopefully this movie provides me with good laughs as well.

“The third installment in the “BioShock” franchise will be available on February 26 instead of in October to allow developers at Take-Two studio Irrational Games time to make improvements and refinements, according to 2K.”

This is great news for me as I will have time to catch up on my Bioshock and Bioshock 2. Can’t wait for the next installment of BioShock - Bioshock Infinite

Nevada Issues Google First License for Self-driving Car → lasvegassun.com

As I stated previously, the age of technology is upon us. Be on the lookout for those autonomous Google cars on the streets.  I am not saying that this technology is bad. It would probably relieve traffic and certain accidents. However, who do we blame when something goes wrong? As we have seen in the past, technology backfires a majority of the time.

Mitt Romney Reaffirms Opposition to Gay Marriage → abcnews.go.com

I respect this man, not for his stand on gay marriage, but for his unwavering stand. As Romney stated, ”I have the same view on marriage that I had when I was governor. I believe marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman.”

It is time that we stand up for what we believe in. Controversy will be sure to follow. However, that should not impede our freedom of expression.

We pride ourselves in being the land of freedom, yet when we find someone with a different idea we shoot them down. Many of those attacked waiver in their belief systems and sell themselves out.  However, Romney has not.   For this I truly respect him.

Microsoft Schools Apple on Security Vulnerability Response → zdnet.com

For many years Apple has prided itself with the statement that it was not vulnerable to threats such as viruses, trojans, or malware. Many Apple advocates attempted to convert PC users to Apple with the statement “PCs get tons of viruses, but if you switch to Apple you will NEVER, EVER get a virus, trojan, etc.” Today, most consumers know this as a fallacy. Many consumer’s faith in Apple’s ‘inpenetrable’ security walls has waivered.

The truth is that no computer is exempt from vulnerabilities. The thing that matters is how a company chooses to respond to those vulnerabilites.  Microsoft, though it has many vulnerabilite, sends security patches promptly to secure their users’ computers. However, Apple though it was aware of the Java vulnerability since Februrary, decided to release a security update 49 days afterwards.  That my friends seems a bit irresponsible.  Perhaps Apple will learn from Microsoft’s innitiative to respond to security vulnerability promptly. One can only hope….

Portable Fuel Cell Charger → pcmag.com

Though a bit of an investment at $100-$200, this charger will simplify the process of charging phones in a speedy manner. The rechargable battery is claimed to cost $5. We’ll just have to wait until it comes out to see if this product reaches consumers’ expectations.

Listen

“I’m never going to give up hope!

I’ll never give up until I’m dead!

And if you want me to,

you’ll have to take my life!”

This is an amazing song. The piano intro is simple, yet elegant. Very motivational song.
